The treasure hunt organized by the Levi tourism promotion agency will last until the end of August or until someone finds a gold bar worth 20,000 euros (about 610 million VND).
The program is open to everyone to participate. Players will in turn solve clues announced by the organizers to get closer to the location where the gold bar is hidden. According to the organizers, the treasure hunting route will take participants to explore trails, tourism services and Levi's prominent landmarks.
The final clue is expected to be announced on August 22.
Levi Resort is located above the Arctic Circle and is known as one of the most famous resorts, and also the largest ski resort in Finland. This is a popular winter destination thanks to ideal snow conditions.
Levi is also one of many winter resorts in Europe that are diversifying products to develop year-round tourism. In addition to skiing, visitors coming here in the summer can experience paragliding, hiking, rafting and mountain biking.
The organizers remind participants to move responsibly, only go in permitted areas and respect the natural environment. The treasure hunt does not require digging or disturbing the ground to find gold bars.
