On August 25, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province organized the Consultation Forum "Lam Dong tourism develops green - linked - sustainable - international integration".

The forum was attended by more than 250 delegates who are experts, scientists, businesses, investors and representatives of management agencies.
Opinions focused on building and managing destination brands; innovating promotion, advertising and developing tourism products according to the message "Lam Dong - Green Symphony".
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, Lam Dong needs to restructure the tourist market; and at the same time develop unique and high-quality products based on natural and cultural advantages.
Types such as ecotourism, agriculture, geology - exploration, marine tourism, culture - spirituality, high-class resorts and night economy need to be synchronously invested, associated with building a destination brand with its own identity.

Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance - said that the brand "Lam Dong - Green Symphony" should not just stop at the identity or slogan.
This message needs to be transformed into specific experiences throughout the tourist's journey.
From the perspective of a travel business, Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang - Deputy General Director of Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company, proposed that the province group the international tourist market to have a suitable exploitation strategy.

Accordingly, for stable markets, it is necessary to maintain regular routes; for seasonal markets, charter flights can be exploited before developing into fixed routes.
Former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan said that Lam Dong should not chase after the quantity of products but needs to deepen the value of existing products, create a unique identity for each region and a separate story for each community.
Regarding agricultural tourism, Mr. Le Minh Hoan said that it is necessary to change the approach, in which tourism thinking is integrated right from the production process to create authentic and sustainable experiences for tourists.

Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - said that the opinions at the forum will be the basis for the province to study and advise on building policies, programs, projects, and policies for tourism development in the new period.
Through this, Lam Dong is gradually concretizing the tourism development orientation according to the Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
