According to the ranking of AirHelp - a unit specializing in providing flight compensation services, Da Nang International Airport ranks 272nd in the list. This airport is highly appreciated for the overall passenger experience.
Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) ranked 273rd, while Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) ranked 277th. These two airports scored points thanks to facilities and comfort for passengers.
AirHelp said that the ranking is built on three main criteria including punctuality, service quality and facilities at the terminal. In which, a flight is considered on time if it lands within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
To conduct the assessment, AirHelp combined data on punctuality with passenger surveys in more than 68 countries. The criteria considered included airport staff attitude, waiting time, cleanliness, food quality, store system, seating area, entertainment facilities and passenger service.
At the top of this year's ranking is Tocumen International Airport of Panama. Followed by Fortaleza Pinto Martins Airport of Brazil and Cape Town Airport of South Africa.
This is not the first time Vietnamese airports have been recognized in international rankings. Previously, in March 2026, Da Nang and Noi Bai international airports also appeared in the list of 100 leading airports in the world announced by the aviation rating organization Skytrax.
In recent years, many airports in Vietnam have continuously upgraded infrastructure and service quality to meet the increasing travel demand. At Noi Bai, the airport has added mobile device charging stations, expanded free Wi-Fi services and upgraded many items to serve disabled passengers.
International passenger terminal T2 of Noi Bai is also being expanded with a total investment of about 5,000 billion VND, increasing the number of check-in counters and screening systems, increasing service capacity to 10-15 million passengers per year.
Meanwhile, international terminal T2 of Da Nang airport has just been awarded a 5-star airport certificate by Skytrax for the second consecutive year thanks to the application of modern technology, helping to shorten procedure time and improve passenger experience.
At Tan Son Nhat, from mid-April 2026, the airport has deployed a pre-entry information declaration system for international passengers, contributing to reducing procedure time and limiting congestion in the entry and exit control area.
