First time having Vietnamese booth at BIT MILANO 2025 fair

On February 10, at the BIT MILANO 2025 fair, the Vietnamese booth was launched, marking an important step to promote Vietnamese tourism to the international market.

The event was organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT) in collaboration with 10 leading Vietnamese tourism businesses specializing in the European market.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Duong Hai Hung - Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy, Ms. Alessandra Priante, President of the Italian Tourism Board ENIT (l'Ente Nazionale Italiano per il Turismo), the Italy - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and many guests, press and businesses.

In his speech, Ambassador Duong Hai Hung emphasized: “The Vietnamese booth is a bridge between culture and tourism, helping us introduce unique destinations and diverse types of tourism in Vietnam to international friends. This is an opportunity to work together to build and develop tourism in a sustainable direction.”

During the three-day fair from February 9 to 11, 2025, BIT 2025 has created a playground for business and cultural exchange with an expected attendance of more than 150,000 visitors. Each day of the fair has special programs from seminars, tourism product introductions to exchanges and experience sharing between businesses and tourism experts.

In particular, the Vietnam tourism booth attracted the attention of visitors not only by the updated information on the current tourism situation but also by the impressive decoration space, introducing famous destinations such as Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang, Sapa and unique types of tourism such as cultural tourism, eco-tourism, culinary tourism, resort tourism, adventure tourism, luxury experience... Visitors also enjoyed special performances such as traditional lion dance and graceful ao dai dance, skillful martial arts performances, and at the same time enjoyed culinary culture through Vietnamese specialties such as nem, fresh spring roll, banh chung, pho...

Through the opening ceremony and a series of exciting activities throughout the three days of BIT 2025 fair, VNCT and its associated businesses affirmed their commitment to promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism globally, while expanding opportunities for cooperation to develop the industry.

Ms. Le Y Linh, Director of Vietravel Branch in France, President of VNCT Association shared: "Up to now, Vietravel has sent many Vietnamese tourists to Italy, Vietnamese people also love to explore the culture, history, cuisine, and nature of Italy. I believe that the cooperation of Vietnamese enterprises with VNCT, the booth will introduce the products and great potential of Vietnamese tourism to businesses and the public in Italy, potentially opening up many opportunities for exchange and strengthening cooperation between the two countries."
