The program aims to promote culture, heritage and promote sustainable tourism through creative livestream on the TikTok platform, implemented by the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund in collaboration with TikTok live.
Promoting the beauty of culture, heritage and tourism
As an annual tourism promotion event of the TikTok platform, this year's program aims to inspire participants to create new and unique content, serving as an effective bridge to widely spread the quintessence of Vietnamese heritage. Combining modern technology and meaningful content, the program will create opportunities for everyone, especially the younger generation, to access and understand more deeply traditional cultural values.
The program focuses on a series of main activities including: Online events for live content creators to share and spread pride in Vietnamese heritage (from 12-18.), and at the same time find guests to participate in the offline program in June.
From June 1-10, the program will organize a series of practical activities in 5 provinces and cities: Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Hue. The entire journey will be broadcast live on TikTok, taking viewers to explore the outstanding features of each locality - from architectural heritage, traditional culture to regional culinary quintessence.
Accompanying the program are outstanding content creators of the livestream segment on TikTok such as: Ly The Huong, Dung Hoang Pham, Minh Thang, K-ICM, Manh Tien Khoi... Through the form of interactive livestream, content creators participating in the program will help bring the beauty of heritage closer to the younger generation, spread Vietnamese cultural values, promote tourism development.
Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Representative of TikTok Vietnam affirmed: "We believe that technology can help renew the perception of heritage, making seemingly distant cultural values closer to young people, becoming a bridge connecting emotions - making viewers not only see but also truly touch heritage".
Spreading sustainable tourism associated with conservation
Within the framework of the program, cultural experts, technology experts, media experts, heritage photographers... shared their views on the interesting topic "Sustainable tourism with the value of Vietnamese heritage".
Experts discussed the following contents: Potential of sustainable tourism based on Vietnam's cultural and natural heritage; What impact can heritage tourism have on the public's awareness of heritage conservation; How to make less-known heritages become attractive destinations for tourists...
In addition, the seminar also pointed out the role of online content, experiential videos and social networks in shaping tourism trends towards cultural values; How to combine heritage conservation and developing the tourism economy in a balanced way...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund, shared: With the development of technology and streaming platforms, bringing the cultural heritage of tourist destinations closer to everyone has not only become feasible but also opened up many new opportunities to explore, learn and experience. Thereby, we can truly access and feel cultural heritage, while creating a strong bridge to maintain, share and spread precious cultural values".
