Ms. Cota Fernandez Patricia - a French tourist said that this is her first trip to Vietnam. During this journey, she visited Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang and is currently in Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, I had seen images of Vietnamese ao dai, but today is the first time I have carefully seen this outfit. I admire the tailoring technique and the sophisticated embroidery of Vietnamese people" - Ms. Cota Fernandez shared.

Many unique activities at the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival
The 2026 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival gathers 36 designers from 3 regions North - Central - South, with nearly 400 Ao Dai sets, 600 actors - models and 37 ambassadors from many fields.
This year's festival is themed "Golden Silk - Weaving Aspiration", taking place from March 1 to 31, with a peak from March 6 to 8, with 17 main activities organized at many locations in the city.

Notably, on the morning of March 8, a program to celebrate the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day will take place, combining folk dance performances with Vietnamese ao dai and ao dai parades, expected to attract about 50,000 participants at many locations in the city, including about 3,000 people on Nguyen Hue street.
According to Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, this year's Ao Dai Festival is focused on organizing more in-depth cultural content. At the same time, creating highlights through motifs and introducing the history of Ao Dai development.
