The 2025 Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival will take place from November 7 to 9 at the Hanoi Museum (Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward) and Hoan Kiem Lake area.
This is an annual activity of the city to promote tourism in the capital in conjunction with honoring, preserving and spreading the unique intangible cultural values of the Vietnamese ao dai.
Speaking at the press conference on the afternoon of October 31, Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said that after four years of organization, the Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival has attracted the attention and active participation of the people of the capital, domestic friends and international tourists, spreading the love of Ao Dai and promoting Ao Dai as an impressive souvenir product for international tourists when coming to Hanoi, Vietnam.
We hope and hope that through the Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival held annually to write continuous stories about Ao Dai as a Tourism Ambassador, a Cultural Heritage along with Ao Dai with the image of Hanoi and Vietnam, we will reach a large number of international tourists and friends, contributing to promoting the capital Hanoi - a Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive Destination.

Taking place throughout the three days at the Hanoi Museum, the Festival opens up a lively cultural space, where traditional values are recreated and sublimated in the contemporary rhythm of life.
More than 80 stalls are elaborately decorated, gathering designers, ao dai brands, weaving, sewing, embroidery, silk industries and typical artisans from Hanoi and many localities across the country.
The Opening Ceremony and Special Art Program with the theme "Hanoi Ao Dai - Shining the quintessence of heritage" on the evening of November 7. This will be an artistic night, connecting Hanoi with the whole country with a fluffy of ao dai, as soft as silk, as durable as the national soul.
The photo exhibition "Hanoi - Heritage Ao Dai" is the journey of Ao Dai through the perspective of art, fashion, and culture. Visitors can also rent ready-made ao dai designed in many styles to embark on the journey of experience - taking photos - preserving moments in the context of recreating Khue Van Cac, along with familiar Hanoi's Old Quarter corners.
Performing the children's ao dai "Em yeu Ha Noi", carrying the pure and innocent breath of Hanoi's childhood.
The Ao Dai parade around Hoan Kiem Lake (November 8), including the recreation of the Trach Xa Ao Dai Craft Village Rally, the Bach Hoa Dong Hanh and Bao Dong Bao Noi program, gathered hundreds of people and tourists in Ao Dai and traditional costumes, creating a brilliant scene in the center of the capital. In addition, there is also the Ao Dai performance program "Women of the Capital integrate and develop".

The series of creative experience workshops were held continuously for three days: trying to embroider folk motifs, paint patterns to decorate Ao Dai, making accessories, jewelry (such as sedge bags, hoes, bracelets...), making bamboo stalls...
At the same time, traditional art performances are held throughout the Festival, aiming to honor the value of intangible heritage and introduce to the public the unique art forms of the nation such as ca Tru, Cheo, quan Ho, Xam...
People and tourists can also participate in the "Touching Hanoi Autumn Festival" experience tour by double-decker bus, admiring unique ao dai models in the "Ao Dai - Connecting Heritage" design contest.
The festival will not only be a cultural event, but also an important boost to promote tourism. Through the program, Hanoi City affirmed its orientation to build tourism products associated with culture, making Ao Dai a symbol of Hanoi tourism identification. At the same time, it promotes the participation of the community, artisans and businesses in the work of preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural values in the new era.
