The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024 is an annual cultural and tourism event that takes place every year and this year the City has identified it as one of the special events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024 with stories about the heroic history of the Capital throughout its 70-year journey with a variety of activities taking place from the beginning of August organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the City Women's Union, the Hanoi Youth Union and related units.
Through a series of events taking place to contribute to honoring and preserving the unique cultural beauty of the traditional Ao Dai of the Vietnamese people; making Ao Dai an impressive souvenir product for international tourists when coming to Vietnam; a source of creative inspiration for designers; a playground and opportunity for experience and exchange for students in the design sector of schools in the city; creating opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and signing of mutual development between Hanoi enterprises and domestic and international enterprises; especially, contributing to promoting Hanoi tourism as a "Safe - friendly - quality - attractive destination" for domestic tourists and international friends every autumn in Hanoi.
The opening ceremony of the Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2024 will be held at Doan Mon Square Stage, Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi at 8:00 p.m. on October 4. The opening ceremony with the theme "Hanoi - The Quintessence of Ao Dai" will revive a part of the image of the capital Hanoi 70 years of history. In that space, many scenes, dances, and fashion shows will recreate Hanoi - the heroic, resilient, and brave capital in combat, constantly innovating, developing, and integrating.
The 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival has been officially launched to honor the beauty of traditional Ao Dai, introduce the beauty and convenience of Ao Dai to make Ao Dai a familiar outfit for all genders and industries, chosen for regular use in daily work and on important holidays and events of the year.
