On the afternoon of August 13, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) announced the video/clip creation contest "Vietnam Tourism Impressions" with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Cinema Association, along with many KOLs, TikTokers...
This is an activity within the strategy of promoting and affirming the national tourism brand on a digital technology platform.
The contest aims to promote the image of Vietnam as an attractive, quality, sustainable destination with majestic nature, unique culture and complete tourism services; at the same time, innovate promotional methods, increase the application of modern technology to promote professional and effective tourism; mobilize the creativity of the community, create a playground for travel enthusiasts to express new ideas and perspectives; enrich image and video data warehouses for national promotion.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan - Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee - in the context of fierce international tourism competition, creating attractive, emotional, and highly influential communication products is the key.
Digital technology and social networks allow the image of Vietnam to reach millions of people worldwide in a short time. The contest is a channel for the community to tell their own stories about the country, people, and culture of Vietnam, thereby contributing to building the image of "Vietnam - a safe, friendly, and attractive destination".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Head of the Jury - emphasized that this is an opportunity to find a unique story about Vietnam from both domestic and international perspectives, especially in the context of Resolution 221 expanding the policy of long-term visa exemption for artists, manufacturers, tourism experts... to attract international influential factors to participate in promotion.

The Organizing Committee encourages works focusing on the topics: cultural heritage, new tourism products, green tourism experiences, responsible tourism, health tourism, golf tourism, MICE tourism... These are important orientations in the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision 2045 and Vietnam Tourism Marketing Strategy to 2030.
The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, foreigners living in Vietnam, as well as organizations operating in Vietnam. Each author/group of authors can submit up to 5 clips, including 2 genres: short video (maximum 60 seconds) and long video (maximum 5 minutes).
Outstanding works will receive many valuable awards, along with opportunities to spread on the communication channels of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition to the main award, the contest also has a monthly and final voting category. The time to receive entries is from 15.8.2025 to 15.11.2025.
