Lao Cai plans to hold a brocade festival in November

The festival is organized by Lao Cai to promote typical brocade products to locals and tourists.

Accordingly, from November 8 to 10, Lao Cai will organize the Festival "Lao Cai Brocade - Cultural Colors" at No. 2 Fansipan, Fansipan Street, Sa Pa town.

The festival will feature performances and introductions of brocade products; a special art program will open the festival “Lao Cai Brocade - Cultural Colors” with the theme “Sa Pa Brocade of the Misty Clouds”.

Within the premises of the Provincial Tourism Information and Promotion Center, the Festival will introduce the brocade culture typical of the Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, and Xa Pho ethnic groups in conjunction with tourism promotion.

The festival is an opportunity for Lao Cai to promote brocade products bearing the brand of Lao Cai province, associated with preserving and promoting national cultural values.

At the same time, contributing to the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on "Preserving and promoting traditional costumes of Vietnamese ethnic minorities in the current period" and the project "Preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in 2024" of Lao Cai province.
