On the evening of March 6, at Muong Thanh Tourist Market (Dien Bien Phu ward), Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee organized the opening ceremony of the Exhibition, Promotion, and Introduction of cultural and tourism products and cultural experience space within the framework of the Ban Flower Festival 2026.
Right on the opening night, thousands of people flocked to Muong Thanh Tourist Market. According to reporters' records, this year's exhibition space was invested on a large scale, attracting more than 200 registered units with nearly 300 booths from 23 provinces and cities across the country.
At the activity, visitors directly experienced many attractive activities such as: watching artisans perform handicraft brocade weaving, tasting regional specialties, learning about high-quality OCOP products and community cultural and artistic exchanges.
Ms. Ngoc Anh, Muong Ang commune, Dien Bien - said: "This year the festival is organized grandly, with a large number of tourists visiting the booth. This is an opportunity to introduce the cultural beauty and handicraft weaving of the nation to friends.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the activity is an opportunity to introduce and honor traditional cultural values, and promote typical products of localities.
At the same time, creating opportunities for trade connections, tourism promotion, contributing to bringing Dien Bien's image closer to domestic and international tourists.
Exhibition, promotion, introduction of cultural and tourism products and cultural experience spaces will take place from December 6-12. 3.

Also on the evening of March 6, at Muong Thanh Tourist Market, the opening ceremony of the Folk Song, Dance, Folk Music Festival and traditional costume performance of ethnic groups took place.
The festival takes place from March 6-8, attracting 34 delegations from communes, wards and schools throughout the province with 87 folk songs, folk dances, folk music and 26 traditional costume performances of ethnic groups.
The performances are elaborately staged, imbued with the cultural identity of each ethnic group, contributing to honoring and promoting the unique traditional cultural values of the ethnic communities of Dien Bien province, attracting the attention and encouragement of a large number of people and tourists.
