According to the Management Board of Nui Cam Tourist Area, the Thien Cam Son Lantern Festival in the year of Binh Ngo - 2026 will officially take place on March 7, 2026, which is the 19th day of the first lunar month) in the Thuy Liem Lake area, Nui Cam Tourist Area (Nui Cam commune, An Giang province).
The festival consists of 2 main parts: the Ceremony and the Festival. The ceremony part is solemnly organized with the prayer ceremony "National peace, people safe" with many solemn traditional rituals such as: releasing 3,000 lanterns into Thuy Liem Lake.
A noteworthy point is that all lanterns are made of environmentally friendly materials, capable of self-destruction without polluting water sources.
In the festival part, there are many culinary programs imbued with the colors of the mountains and forests and especially the art performance program "Thien Cam Son Echoes of the Festival Day" which is elaborately staged... All are expected to bring a joyful, solemn and warm atmosphere at the beginning of the year.
The Thien Cam Mountain Lantern Festival was held for the first time in 2025, attracting more than 10,000 participants. Not only becoming the most attractive event to date in the Nui Cam area, the festival also contributes to promoting and attracting tourism, creating conditions for Nui Cam people to develop the economy.
According to many tourism experts, this festival needs to be invested in upgrading and developing into a unique cultural and tourism activity, contributing to positioning the spiritual and ecological tourism brand of the locality in particular and the whole country in general.
With a height of over 700m above sea level, Cam Mountain is also known as Thien Cam Mountain, not only considered the "green roof" of the Mekong Delta of the Fatherland, but also known as a paradise in the lower world.
