This is the fifth time the event has been organized, continuing to be a highlight in foreign affairs and cultural exchange activities between Da Nang and localities, organizations, and Korean businesses. The festival has the participation of many Korean localities such as Daegu, Pyeongtaek, Yongin, Osan, Gwangyang, Yeongam and Gurye, along with organizations, universities, businesses and art troupes of the two countries.
During the four days of the festival, more than 90 booths will introduce culture, cuisine, tourism, products, and services of Vietnam and Korea. The program also includes an exhibition of cooperation achievements between Da Nang and Korean partners, a traditional art exhibition, a cultural experience space and a digital art exhibition Gwangyang Media Art Lab at the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts.
The series of art exchanges takes place throughout with the participation of Vietnamese and Korean art troupes. Many experiential activities are organized such as Samulnori drum performances, Sogo dance, bamboo dancing, Random Dance K-pop, Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts and Taekwondo performances, Vietnam - Korea culinary competition and the final of the K-pop dance talent competition.
The highlight of the festival is the Conference "Meeting Korea in Da Nang - Meet Korea in Da Nang 2026: Artificial Intelligence - New Momentum for Growth and Development", held on the afternoon of August 7 at Furama Resort Da Nang. The conference focused on discussing the development of the AI ecosystem, innovation, human resource training and technology transfer cooperation, and is expected to hold a ceremony to exchange cooperation memorandums between Da Nang and Korean partners.
In addition, the festival also has activities on cinema, education and sports such as Korean Film Days in Da Nang, a program to introduce Korean study abroad, a friendly golf tournament, football exchange and meetings with two former Korean national team players Park Joo Ho and Lee Woon Jae.
