Vietnam - Korea Festival in Da Nang City 2024 takes place with rich accompanying programs such as the Korea - Vietnam ICT Cooperation Prospects Conference; Space to experience Vietnamese - Korean culture and folk games; Vietnamese - Korean dish making competition; Experience Korean baseball; Vietnam - Korea Art Talent Contest and traditional and modern art performances of the two nations.
The festival not only contributes to promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy between Vietnam and Korea, but also serves as a bridge to deploy cooperation promotion activities in the fields of education, fisheries, trade, import and export... between the two countries.
Specifically, within the framework of the Festival , many connection activities to promote cooperation in various fields will take place such as: Promotion of cooperation on trade, import and export between the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang and the Department of Economics and Business. Gyeongsangbuk Province Trade, Korea; Promoting educational cooperation between the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang and the Department of Education of Gangwon Special Autonomous Province.
Signing of a memorandum of understanding on fisheries development cooperation between Da Nang Fisheries Association and Jeju Fisheries Cooperative; Promote trade, investment and labor cooperation between Uijeongbu city and Da Nang city; Promoting tourism cooperation between Pax Ind Company with the proposal of the Digital Art Gallery Project and the Tourist Information Center Project.
Vietnam - Korea Festival in Da Nang was held for the first time in 2015 and 2016 and then postponed due to many reasons.
2022 marks the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea. The Vietnam - Korea Festival in Da Nang City is reorganized and becomes the city's annual foreign event.
The festival has received the attention of a large number of city residents and foreign tourists, especially Korean tourists with about 25,000 visitors participating in the 2023 festival season.
