London is the world's best city in a new ranking of more than 270 of the planet's largest cities, according to the World's Best Cities 2025 report compiled by marketing consultancy Resonance.
The ranking is based on a survey of 22,000 people in 30 countries, based on liveability, loveability and prosperity. The ranking assesses a city's vibrancy in terms of culture, attractions, nightlife, cuisine and international reputation.
London's vibrant nightlife and airport connections have helped the UK capital top the list again in 2025. The London Underground's Elizabeth line, the renovation of Gatwick Airport and the addition of the new Camden Highline have made getting around easy and convenient.
The city's top attractions, growing tech industry and leading finance sector contribute to its reputation as a global icon. London has once again claimed the title of the world's best city in 2025, holding on to its enviable position for the 10th year in a row.
