Statistics from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism show that during the 5-day National Day holiday of September 2026, this locality is estimated to welcome more than 850,000 visitors, an increase of 37% compared to the same period in 2025. Of which, international visitors reached more than 224,000. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 3.326 billion VND.
According to the Da Nang City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from August 29 to September 2, the number of overnight visitors is estimated at more than 275,000, an increase of 36% compared to the same period in 2025. The average room occupancy rate in the whole city reached about 65-70%. The 4-5 star and equivalent hotel block alone reached about 75%.
According to a quick report from the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, more than 240,000 international visitors to Da Nang is the highest level among key localities compiled during the holidays.
Regarding aviation, from August 29 to September 2, Da Nang welcomed 810 domestic and international flights, an increase of 19% compared to the same period in 2025. Including 498 domestic flights and 312 international flights.
The increased number of visitors is supported by a series of cultural, sports and tourism activities taking place during the holidays. Notable are Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026, Hoi An Creative Week 2026, programs at My Son Temple and Tower Area, and many art and sports activities in the city center.
Tourist areas and attractions also implement many programs to serve tourists. Some museums in the city offer free entrance tickets during National Day.
The above results show that Da Nang tourism continues to maintain its growth momentum during the late summer vacation. Notably, the number of international visitors increased sharply, contributing to affirming the city's attractiveness to the international visitor market.
