H'Mong people are busy "entering the season" of tourism

From doing homestay, cooking, selling local products to serving experiential activities, people are proactively turning landscape and cultural advantages into livelihoods.
Visitors to Mu Cang Chai not only want to see terraced fields but also want to eat H'Mong dishes, learn about the life and culture of the people.

The "guides" on the golden season road
Not only accommodation establishments and business households are busy preparing, but members of self-managed motorbike taxi teams for security and order in the area are also ready for the peak tourist season.
This is a force that regularly picks up and drops off people and tourists on highland roads.
With a terrain of many mountain passes and winding roads, having drivers who understand the area and know the routes to tourist destinations is a significant advantage for tourists.
Each festival season, motorbikes not only take on the task of taking visitors from one point to another, but also contribute to helping tourists access villages, fields and beautiful landscapes that large vehicles cannot always reach.
Mr. Lo Van Hung - a local motorbike taxi driver said that during the tourist season, the number of customers increases, and there is also more work. However, the most important thing is to ensure safety for customers throughout the journey.
Customers from other places are often not familiar with highland roads. I am a local, so in addition to safely transporting customers, I can also guide beautiful roads" - Mr. Hung shared.
To prepare for the festival season, on August 20, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4, Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police in coordination with Mu Cang Chai Commune Police organized propaganda on road traffic order and safety laws for more than 50 members of self-managed motorbike taxi groups on security and order in the area.
At the propaganda session, functional forces disseminated regulations on speed, lanes, lane, helmet wearing; safe traffic participation skills.
Members of the self-managed motorbike taxi team were also reminded of the necessary skills when carrying passengers, especially at a time when the number of vehicles and tourists is expected to increase.
According to Mr. Giang A Tang - Vice Chairman of Mu Cang Chai Commune People's Committee, National Day 2/9 this year is expected to continue to attract many tourists, especially when the locality enters the ripe rice season.
We determine that preparation must be carried out early, from accommodation establishments, food services to sightseeing spots, traffic and security and order.
People doing tourism are also reminded to list prices, serve at the right prices, maintain environmental sanitation and ensure safety for tourists" - Mr. Giang A Tang said.
