Mui Ne activates rapid response team to handle tourism issues

Lam Dong - Mui Ne Ward puts into operation the rapid response team and self-management team at the fishing village embankment to promptly handle tourism-related issues.

On July 1, Mr. Le Thanh Son - Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee (Lam Dong province) said that the locality has established and put into operation a rapid response team on tourism and a self-management team in the fishing village embankment area.

According to the People's Committee of Mui Ne ward, the rapid response team is headed by the Ward Police Chief, and two deputy team leaders are leaders of professional departments. Members also include representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, the Management Board of Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area and related units.

The team is responsible for receiving and processing feedback from tourists and people through hotlines, social networks or directly. The content of feedback focuses on the situation of price gouging, trade fraud, insecurity and disorder, property theft, incidents related to tourists, environmental sanitation, food safety, street vendors, soliciting and stalking customers.

Along with that, the self-management team at the fishing village embankment was established with the team leader being the Deputy Director of the ward General Service Center, the deputy team leader being the Director of the Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area Management Board, along with the local police force, neighborhood head and related members.

The task of the team is to patrol, control, and promptly handle situations arising in the fishing village area, especially acts affecting the tourism environment, service quality and destination image.

Previously, social networks appeared articles by tourists reflecting the situation of fraud when buying seafood in the Mui Ne fishing village area. The Standing Committee of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee has organized a meeting with relevant departments and units to implement solutions to rectify business activities in the fishing village area.

Putting working groups into operation is expected to improve tourism management efficiency, create a civilized, safe and friendly business environment. Thereby, contributing to building the Mui Ne brand as an attractive destination, leaving a good impression on domestic and foreign tourists.
