Among the destinations that are expected to strongly attract tourists in 2026, Mui Ne (Lam Dong) leads the list.

Booking.com's 2026 trend report shows that personalized travel continues to dominate. Many tourists choose journeys that reflect their interests, emotions or their own unique impressions.

About 69% of survey participants said they were willing to experience a trip with a new friend or colleague to try to see if they were compatible; 66% looked to technology to recall places associated with memories; and 39% also decided on tourist destinations based on their sunroof.

These data prove that next year will be an explosive time for personalized experiences and unique colors for each traveler.

From booking data analysis to user reviews, this online travel platform has built a list of places predicted to "reign" in 2026. In which, Mui Ne topped the list.

Located on the central coast, Mui Ne possesses a harmonious blend of natural scenery, local culture and outdoor activities. Once a peaceful fishing village, this place has become a famous resort with sunny beaches, long, smooth golden sand beaches and green tropical trees. The stable climate all year round makes this place known as a "Paradise" for sea sports such as kite surfing or sailing.

About 200km from Ho Chi Minh City, Mui Ne brings a sense of separation from the urban pace of life thanks to its unique terrain: red sand hills, large white sand hills like a miniature desert, and Tien stream with warping water amidst colorful sediment. This is one of the experiences that visitors consider "entering a fairy tale world".

In addition to the fascinating nature, Mui Ne is also attractive because of its local cuisine. The coastal area has many small eateries serving fresh seafood such as grilled crab crab or stir-fried clams with lemongrass, while fishing ports create a vivid picture of the daily life of fishermen.

Not only has a clean blue beach and pleasant climate, Mui Ne also preserves its unique cultural features through ancient temples, traditional markets and long-standing fishing villages, giving visitors a journey imbued with indigenous characteristics.
