On the morning of February 21 (the 5th day of the Binh Ngo Tet), in Khe Kieu village, Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province, the Opening Ceremony of the Traditional Temple - Ban Long Pagoda Festival (also known as Khe Kieu Pagoda) took place. The ceremony was attended by delegates, guests, and a large number of local people and tourists from all over to attend the festival, offer incense, and pray for spring blessings.
The opening ceremony took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, including both the ceremony part and the festival part. The festival part opened with a cultural program with the participation of students from Minh Khai Secondary School and cultural clubs inside and outside the village, creating a joyful, bustling, and colorful atmosphere of rural spring. Next was a short, concise opening speech and an opening drum performance by the leaders of Vu Thu commune, officially opening the traditional festival season.
Immediately after the opening ceremony is the incense offering ceremony to commemorate Duc Thanh Hoang of Do Phung Tran village - the person who was ordained Uyen Dung Quang Bat Dai Vuong, Thuong dang Than. In the sacred space of the temple - pagoda, the ceremony is solemnly held, expressing the deep gratitude of the people to the predecessors who contributed to their homeland and village.

Next, the traditional palanquin procession ritual takes place in a sacred atmosphere, attracting a large number of people to participate, creating a festival image rich in identity, connecting the community.
The Ban Long Temple - Pagoda Festival is not only a spiritual cultural activity at the beginning of spring, but also an opportunity for each child of the homeland and tourists from all directions to look towards their roots, preserving good traditional values.
