Exploiting local cultural values for tourism
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung's family in Hung Binh ward (Vinh city, Nghe An) visited tourist destinations in the province for about 3 days. He said that his family prioritized destinations in the Western region of Nghe An, including places with beautiful scenery such as Hon Mat, Truong Gia Farm, Phu Quy flower valley (Nghia Dan)...
According to a survey by the Department of Tourism of Nghe An province, traveling during Tet has become the choice of many families in Nghe An in recent years. In addition to wealthy families choosing to go abroad, the trend chosen by many families is to travel within the province, because first of all, tourist destinations in the province are often close, the travel time only takes 1-2 days, so there is still time for relatives and friends during Tet. Moreover, short trips are often low cost, suitable for the budget, and transportation is convenient. Besides, Nghe An has many destinations with many attractive cultural values, meeting the diverse needs of the people.
“This year’s Lunar New Year, destinations in the province are expected to welcome a large number of visitors, which is an opportunity for the province’s tourism industry to accelerate. Grasping this trend, travel companies have built many Spring tours to spiritual destinations and the Western region of Nghe An at attractive prices,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Bac, Chairman and General Director of PhucGroup Investment, Trade and Tourism Company Limited.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Bac, the fact that tourists choose to travel within the province has created conditions for localities to exploit indigenous cultural values to serve tourism and through this activity, contribute to promoting and spreading those cultural values.
