In the early days of the new year Binh Ngo Tet 2026, tourists from all over flock to Binh A Pagoda in Dong Thinh commune, Ninh Binh province to worship the blue stone Amitabha Buddha statue, which is recognized as the largest in Vietnam.
Lao Dong recorded on the morning of February 22 - the last day of the Tet holiday, the pagoda grounds were always bustling, groups of people lined up to offer incense, pray for peace, and record moments next to the tall and majestic statue in the sky and earth.



Binh A Pagoda is built on a campus of about 13,000m2. The pagoda is imbued with Hue Buddhist architecture, subtly blended with Kinh Bac cultural features. Prominent in Binh A Pagoda's campus is the largest natural blue stone Amitabha Buddha statue in Vietnam, which was recognized as a record by the Vietnam Records Organization in 2018. The Buddha statue is 32m high (calculated from the pedestal to the top of the Buddha's head) and weighs nearly 3,000 tons, inside there are 10,000 gold-plated Buddha statues.
Not only people in the province, but also many delegations from provinces, cities and neighboring localities also came to visit. Ms. Ngo Minh Tam (from Hung Yen) said: "I read in the newspaper and learned that Binh A Pagoda has the largest blue stone Buddha statue in Vietnam, so I wanted to take my parents to worship. The pagoda space is spacious, the scenery is beautiful, very suitable for spring travel at the beginning of the year.


According to Venerable Thich Nhat Khanh - Abbot of Binh A Pagoda, from the 1st day of Tet to now, the pagoda has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors and Buddhists to pilgrimage and worship. To ensure that people have a solemn and safe pilgrimage space; the pagoda proactively arranges people to guide visitors right from the outside.
