On October 15, Mr. Tran Minh Trung - Deputy Director of the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication of Rach Gia Ward - Deputy Management Board of the Historical Site of the Mausoleum and Communal House Nguyen Trung Truc said that up to now, he has received many items from people from all over to serve the festival.
Up to now, the Organizing Committee has received more than 130 tons of rice, more than 6 tons of sugar, more than 6 tons of soybeans... these items will be processed to serve everyone who comes to pay their respects and attend the festival.
The Board has also arranged 6 rice farms, an increase of 2 farms compared to last year, with 2 banh xeo farms, 2 toaster farms... to serve the food needs of the people at the festival. Regarding accommodation, there are 2 hammock trais (1 trai is located near the communal house, 1 trai is located in the Memorial Temple area of the province).
At the same time, the province also opened the memorial temple for heroes, martyrs and meritorious people during the 3 official holidays.
Mr. Trung informed: "Last year, the number of visitors to the festival was about 1.6 million. This year, when the province is merged (Kien Giang and An Giang), it is expected that pilgrims will increase by more than 30%. Before the main ceremony took place, the people had arrived many days in advance to set up the camp and prepare for the festival to take place thoroughly.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang - Deputy Head of the Management and Organization Board of A Tan Hu Boat Farm (An Giang) said: "Since yesterday, we have built a farm, brought tools, machinery, and 3 tons of soybeans to make hu to serve rice farms, and distributed soy milk to the people. It is estimated that about 1.3 tons of soybeans will be produced per day. We contribute our efforts, mobilize our brothers and friends, donors, and everyone to voluntarily contribute funds to serve the festival.
A unique beauty of the festival is that everything is served free of charge to the people attending the festival from eating, sleeping to medicine when sick. Strangers from all over also voluntarily contributed their contributions to the festival, everyone did it with respect for Mr. Nguyen and Ms. Hang shared.
"Giving is not the way to give, people eat like you. I work with all my heart, all my heart want everyone to have a delicious meal, so everyone here prepares to work from 2am. All stages must be clean, ensuring food hygiene and safety, I process it hot into the oven where people like to eat, many people line up to pick it up," she confided.

The traditional festival to celebrate the 157th anniversary of the sacrifice of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc (1868 - 2025) will take place over 3 days, from October 17 to 19 (February 26 to 28 of the lunar calendar).
Westerners are often familiar with calling the festival by a familiar name, affectionately the death anniversary of Uncle Nguyen. No matter who is old, young, male or female, everyone wholeheartedly respects Mr. Nguyen.

The festival has 2 parts: the ceremony and the festival, the ceremony with traditional rituals. In particular, at 8:00 p.m. on October 17, an art program will take place to open the festival in front of the Monument to Heroes, Martyrs and Meritorious People in the Northwest Sea Encrowned Urban Area, Rach Gia Ward. The program is broadcast live on a number of stations in the Mekong Delta.
The festival will feature many cultural, artistic and sports activities; displaying and introducing commercial products and OCOP products of the province; fairs; lion - monk - dragon performances; flower festivals to celebrate the national peace and security... A series of activities of the festival aim to serve the entertainment needs of people when participating in the festival.
