On the evening of February 12 (ie the 15th day of the first lunar month) at Tran Hau Park, Ha Tien City (Kien Giang), an art program was held to celebrate the 289th anniversary of the founding of Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac. This is one of the activities of the festival to celebrate the 289th anniversary of the founding of Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac (1736-2025) to honor the patriotism and creativity of our predecessors in the fields of literature and art and to contribute to promoting local tourism.
In his opening speech, Chairman of Ha Tien City People's Committee Mai Quoc Thang said that the Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac Festival attracted a large number of people and tourists from near and far to participate and experience activities with the characteristics of the land known as the land of poetry.

"The festival not only honors the poetic achievements that our ancestors created on this famous borderland with many beautiful landscapes, but is also an opportunity to promote the image of Ha Tien to tourists. From there, we invite businesses to invest, effectively exploit potentials and strengths, create more rich and diverse tourism products and services, meet the increasing needs of tourists, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Ha Tien", Chairman of Ha Tien City People's Committee Mai Quoc Thang emphasized.
The achievements in content and art of Chieu Anh Cac poetry are important contributions to the cultural development process in Ha Tien - Kien Giang in particular and the whole South in general. The heritage of Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac is a priceless cultural asset, creating conditions for Ha Tien to develop sustainable tourism based on historical and cultural values. Preserving and promoting the value of Tao Dan contributes to preserving the heritage, opening up a direction for long-term cultural tourism development.
Ha Tien City maintains the organization of the Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac Festival associated with the annual celebration of Vietnam Poetry Day with many rich programs and activities such as: organizing Ong Do Street and displaying artifacts of Ha Tien past and present; Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac Festival Book Street; photo exhibition of Ha Tien past and present, economic, cultural and social achievements of Ha Tien City; activities of displaying and introducing commercial products and promoting tourism; organizing Vietnam Poetry Day associated with meetings and exchanges with artists; releasing fish to regenerate aquatic resources on Dong Ho lagoon; visiting the tombs of poets Dong Ho and Mong Tuyet; flower car parade; releasing flower lanterns to pray for national peace and prosperity, etc.

On the same afternoon, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Ha Tien City Martyrs' Cemetery. The delegation also offered incense at the tomb and mausoleum of Mac Cuu (belonging to the Binh San National Historical - Cultural Relic Complex) and offered incense at the Temple and tomb of Mrs. Mac Mi Co.
