Hanoi - Young people are more proud of the historical value of restored works at the activities of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, a series of iconic buildings of Hanoi were recreated and restored such as: Tram, Dong Xuan Market, Hanoi Flag Tower, Opera House, Long Bien Bridge and 5 historic gates... attracting many young people to visit, take photos, check-in, and save memories.

Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang (Hai Phong) was surprised when seeing many famous landmarks in Hanoi restored on the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

''I have been in Hanoi for a while, but this is the first time I have seen the capital in a very different way, filled with vibrant colors and an exciting atmosphere,'' Thuy Trang shared.

Thuy Trang also added that she feels proud and understands more deeply the historical value through the models recreating typical relics of Hanoi. "I think this will be an unforgettable and interesting experience," she said.

Thanh Binh, a visitor, and his friends came to admire and take photos at the space "Memories of Hanoi - 70 years" - one of the popular places this time.

This space recreates ancient Hanoi from 1947 to 1954, at Phung Hung mural street (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). Visitors can learn about some traditional crafts, tourist gift products or typical culinary dishes of Hanoi.

''After seeing the photos and videos on social networks, I found it very interesting so I immediately invited a group of classmates to visit and immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere on Phung Hung Street,'' Thanh Binh shared.

Dressed in an ao dai while visiting the B-52 Victory Museum (Ba Dinh, Hanoi), Dinh Thi Tu Anh (Dak Nong) said that October 10 was an opportunity for her to learn about the nation's history.

''Witnessing the war artifacts with my own eyes made me feel moved by the glorious milestones and heroic memories of the nation's past,'' Tu Anh proudly said.

''Through going to the museum, I understand more about the heroic historical period of the nation, and feel extremely lucky to now be living in peace," Tu Anh shared.

On every major national holiday, young people have their own way of expressing their pride and patriotism. This is also a good sign that the young generation is increasingly interested in finding their roots in the country. It is a catalyst to arouse the responsibility and national pride of the young generation.
