According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, this year's Tet series of activities is organized by public service units under the Department, lasting from January 20 to March 3, 2026 (ie, from the 2nd day of the twelfth lunar month to the full moon of the first lunar month).
In which, many activities take place throughout Tet such as practicing the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest and the thematic exhibition "Khanh Hoa - Echoes of the Past" at the Provincial Museum.
In the coastal park area opposite No. 50 Tran Phu (Nha Trang ward), people and tourists can visit the photo exhibition "Spring Colors of the Country", Tet booth space, displaying typical local products and artifacts. In addition, the photo exhibition "Khanh Hoa New Day" is held at 16/4 Square.
Notably, at the special national relic Ba Po Nagar Tower (Bac Nha Trang ward) and Po Klong Garai Tower, traditional pottery making and brocade weaving activities of the Cham people will take place, along with music and dance performances imbued with Cham cultural identity.
At Hon Chong National Scenic Landscape (Bac Nha Trang ward), the Organizing Committee arranged a concert program of folk musical instruments, introducing calligraphy art and the activity of giving letters at the beginning of the year.
In addition to long-term activities during Tet, many programs are organized on specific days. On January 24th, the Festive art program will take place at 2/4 Square (Nha Trang ward).
On February 9th, at the beach park opposite the Provincial Museum, people and tourists can participate in experiencing the Vietnamese Tet space with activities such as wrapping banh chung, banh tet, writing calligraphy, playing folk games.
On the evening of February 3rd, at April 2nd Square and April 16th Square, an art program to celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, celebrate the homeland and country's renovation will take place. This is also an activity to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2026) and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee (February 24th, 1930 - February 24th, 2026).
The Tet atmosphere in Nha Trang will be most vibrant during the period from February 16 to 20 (ie December 29 to the 4th day of Tet), with a series of large-scale art programs. On New Year's Eve, a special music, dance, and fashion program "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring, Celebrating the country's renovation" takes place at 2nd Place in April and 16th Place in April.
On the evening of the 1st day of the new Lunar New Year, there is a music and dance, fashion program "New Spring" at April 2nd Square; on the evening of the 2nd day of the New Year, there is a program "Melody of Love" at April 16th Square; on the evening of the 3rd day of the New Year, there is a traditional music program "Homeland Song" at April 2nd Square.
The series of activities is expected to contribute to creating a joyful atmosphere, rich in cultural identity, meeting the needs of spring fun and entertainment of people and tourists during the 2026 Binh Ngo Tet holiday.
