Can Tho Culture - Tourism Week 2026 with the theme "Tay Do is radiant in summer colors" takes place from June 18 to the end of June 21, 2026 (time frame from 8am to 9pm daily) at Ninh Kieu Wharf, Ninh Kieu ward.
The event aims to promote Can Tho tourism, introduce cultural identity, products and people; promote the role and strengths in developing culture and tourism, gradually making tourism a key economic sector of the city.
Can Tho Culture - Tourism Week also creates space for businesses to exchange, promote, introduce products, services, tourism stimulus programs, introduce new tours and routes on the occasion of summer 2026.
As one of the early visitors to the event, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Huy (Can Tho City) shared: "As a son of Tay Do land, this is the first time I have experienced and learned more deeply about the culture, people as well as the unique tourism features of my homeland. I find this week very meaningful, not only stimulating tourism demand but also helping domestic and foreign tourists love this land more".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Duyen, Director of the Can Tho City Investment - Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, informed that the city is strongly accelerating and affirming its core growth driving force role, as evidenced by the fact that in the first 5 months of this year, the city welcomed over 6.2 million domestic and international visitors.
This number is not the destination but the starting point to maintain growth momentum. Can Tho City tourism needs to continue to transform, innovate products, elevate services and expand regional links. This is an inevitable roadmap for Can Tho to confidently meet all the strict needs of the tourism market.

The organizers also organized Do paper workshop and a series of minigames at many times of the day; art performance space with genres such as Don ca tai tu, Ho Can Tho, Southern folk song performances and street music performances.
The week also connects with the Nhon My Commune Water and Orchard Festival in My Phuoc islet and the Tan Loc Fruit Garden Festival in Tan Loc islet, contributing to spreading and promoting typical destinations of the locality.
