In the first days of Binh Ngo 2026, the number of tourists flocking to Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh province) increased sharply, creating a vibrant spring travel atmosphere in the area known as the "roof of the South".
Records at Ba Den Mountain - Sun World Ba Den Mountain tourist area show that from early morning, cable car routes continuously operate at full capacity to serve the sightseeing and pilgrimage needs of people and tourists.

According to representatives of the tourist area, the new point in this year's Spring Festival season is the deployment of an automatic ticket purchase and ticket control system. Tourists can self-swipe tickets through the control gate without having to queue as before, thereby helping to shorten the travel time to the top of the mountain in the context of increased number of visitors at the beginning of spring.

Not only is it a familiar spiritual destination with the hundred-year-old Ba Pagoda system, the mountain peak area also attracts a large number of tourists to worship large-scale statues such as the Tay Bo Da Son Buddha statue or the Bodhisattva Maitreya statue. These are stops chosen by many people to pray for peace and fortune at the beginning of the new year.
At an altitude of nearly 1,000 m, Ba Den mountain peak these days stands out with a brilliant spring flower space, in which nearly 20,000 imported tulip plants simultaneously bloom, forming colored stripes stretching across the clear blue sky. The combination of tulips and spring flowers such as yellow apricot blossoms, roses, peony... brings a colorful landscape, attracting many families and young people to stop for photos.

In addition, many traditional Tet miniatures such as lantern areas, calligraphy corners, and lion and dragon dance models are also arranged in the square area and mountain peaks, contributing to creating a unique festival space. Folk art performances such as Chhay Dam drum dance, five-tone music, Khmer dance,... are organized throughout Tet, bringing local cultural experiences to tourists.
In addition to sightseeing and pilgrimage, visitors can also experience a culinary space with local specialties such as Trang Bang banh canh, pho,... or enjoy drinks at the cafe area on the mountaintop. In the evening, the area in front of the Maitreya statue organizes water music programs to serve visitors.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony of the Spring Festival with the theme "Colors of Tay Ninh 2026" will take place on the evening of the 4th day of Tet at the cable car station square, opening a series of festival activities throughout January at Ba Den Mountain.
