The turning point of the "double" awards
The Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board (Quang Tri) has just brought home two noble titles at the World Travel Awards - WTA 2025 held in Hong Kong (China): "Vietnam's Leading Natural Destination" and "Asia's Leading National Park".
Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board Pham Hong Thai said that this victory is "the beginning of a new development journey" for Quang Tri tourism.
According to him, the award is not only an international recognition but also a reminder of the responsibility for sustainable conservation and exploitation.
We will continue to develop tourism on a strict conservation platform, so that every tourist coming here not only admires the natural beauty but also feels the love and respect of people for heritage, said Mr. Thai.
Repositioning the image of Phong Nha - Ke Bang tourism
After the success of WTA 2025, the National Park Management Board is repositioning the image of Phong Nha - Ke Bang tourism towards ecology, in-depth and high-quality experience. Instead of focusing on "selling sightseeing tickets", the focus in the new period is "selling experiences".

The new products will focus on the depth of nature and indigenous culture: cave exploration tours with geological experts, forest survival courses, healing tourism in quiet nature, or professional photography programs in caves and primeval forests.
At the same time, Phong Nha - Ke Bang expands cooperation with domestic and foreign strategic investors to develop high-end eco-resorts, exclusive adventure tours and wellness tourism services. This is considered a new direction, both raising the level of the tourism brand and ensuring the principle of sustainable development.
Director Pham Hong Thai emphasized that the international title also opens up opportunities to attract high-end customers from Europe, the US, and Australia, who have strict requirements for service quality and are willing to pay high for personalized experiences.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang is now not only an interesting destination, but has become a must-visit - a must-visit destination for Asian tourism, he said.
The victory at WTA 2025 is also in line with the development strategy of Quang Tri province, identifying tourism as one of the four economic pillars. The province aims to build Phong Nha - Ke Bang into a leading center for eco-tourism, adventure and green tourism in the region, where people and nature are in harmony in development.

In the coming time, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board will continue to promote digital transformation in tourism management, strengthen regional linkages, improve the capacity of the community tourism team and promote the image of heritage internationally through digital media channels and global events.
This award is a source of pride, but also a motivation for us to continue to innovate, making Phong Nha - Ke Bang a symbol of green tourism in Vietnam on the world map, shared Director Pham Hong Thai.
