On August 6, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that the leaders of the Quang Tri Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union had a meeting and work at the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Trade Union.
At the meeting, Comrade Truong Thanh Khai, Chairman of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Trade Union, reported some basic points about the content and characteristics of the trade union activities in the past time.
Previously, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Trade Union had 347 union members and workers, arranged at 5 member trade unions, including: 37 union members' Office; 125 union members' Trade Union members' Forest Protection Center; 27 union members' Trade Union members' Animal Rescue Center; 158 union members' Trade Union members' Tourism Center.
However, according to the provisions of Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW of the Central Committee, a unit entitled to 100% of the State budget will dissolve the trade union organization (implementation time before June 15). At Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Trade Union, there is a Forest Protection Center, a unit receiving 100% of the state budget, so the member trade union here has terminated its operation.
Thus, currently, the total number of union members at the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Trade Union from July 1, 2025 is 222 union members, operating at 4 member trade unions.
The living and employment situation of union members and workers after the reorganization is always stable, and their material and spiritual life is increasingly improved. The regimes on salary, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance are fully implemented, promptly, and in accordance with regulations, union members and workers always trust and stick with the unit.
