On April 10, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park announced that the unit has been accepted by the Organizing Committee of the 2026 World Travel Awards (WTA) to be included in the voting list in 2 categories including: Leading National Park in Asia and Leading Natural Destination in Vietnam.
Participating in the award aims to strengthen promotion, enhance the position and brand of tourism, and at the same time affirm the value of Vietnam's World Natural Heritage on the international tourism map.
According to the Management Board, the voting activity is carried out online on the website http://www. worldtravelawards. com/vote. The voting portal is open from the beginning of April 2026 to August 31, 2026.
To improve the possibility of winning prizes, the unit has requested agencies, units, localities, tourism businesses and media agencies to actively participate, support information dissemination and conduct voting.
Mr. Pham Hong Thai - Director of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park said that through the award, the unit aims to continue to achieve national and Asian titles, and at the same time aim for world-class awards, thereby attracting international tourists from potential markets.
The World Travel Awards (WTA) is a prestigious global award, honoring destinations, organizations and businesses with outstanding contributions to the tourism industry.
Previously, in 2025, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park won 2 titles including Top Natural Destination in Vietnam and Top National Park in Asia.
