At Seoul Station (South Korea), there is a famous Vietnamese restaurant called "Destination". The restaurant's design, inside and out, is imbued with Vietnamese culture, and especially all of the restaurant's staff are Vietnamese.
The restaurant's furniture is all shipped directly from Vietnam to Korea, notably a solemnly framed Vietnamese national team shirt.
Korean blogger Inarori came to experience the food here with a friend and wrote a sharing article on August 18.
"I ordered 2 bowls of pho and 1 banh mi, both dishes were delicious. When I tried the first piece of pho, I said 'Oh my god, am I in Vietnam?'. The flavor was really rich and delicious. Delicious. The broth is so good that you don't need to add chili sauce. It's indescribable, just the best pho I've ever eaten."
"I told them to give me some coriander, but they piled it high like a mountain. One time I went to eat Vietnamese pho and was told the restaurant would have to pay extra if they added more vegetables, so they added a few stalks. But here they gave it to me full. I love this restaurant. And the vegetables are so fresh that when you try a bite, you have to admire it," Inarori shared.
Inarori was also very impressed with the bread, which comes with eggs, giving the feeling "just like the bread shops on the streets of Vietnam". She recounted sharing half a sandwich with her friend, but she was still so full that she felt like fainting.
"The bread is really delicious. I always like bread, but this is the first time there is such a delicious Vietnamese restaurant in Korea. We wiped out everything on the table, it was delicious.
I think this is the best pho restaurant in Korea. Even though the Vietnamese staff are busy, they always smile happily, which makes me feel even more comfortable," this blogger wrote.
