In addition, according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday and April 30 - May 1 recently, Da Nang was in the group of localities with the highest number of tourists and tourism revenue in the country with about 1.46 million visitors, an increase of nearly 35% compared to the same period in 2025; estimated revenue reached about 5,700 billion VND.
The bustle at the airport gateways also proves the attractiveness of the "livable city" with 27 operating routes, including 20 regular international routes connecting with key markets such as Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and even the Middle East.
Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City - said that despite achieving positive figures, the Da Nang tourism industry still has many bottlenecks that need to be removed for sustainable development.
