According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh, in the first 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh welcomed about 18.43 million visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024.
In 2025, Quang Ninh aims to welcome more than 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international visitors.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh province plans to organize about 30 large-scale events, festivals and tourism stimulus programs to expand the flow of visitors, extend the length of stay and increase local cultural experiences for visitors.
The series of cultural events - festivals in the highlands at the end of the year is part of this stimulus strategy.

For 2 days (November 1-2), the People's Committee of Dong Ngu commune organized the Soong Co Golden Season Festival 2025 with a series of experiential activities such as viewing terraced fields, enjoying Soong Co dance, watching rituals - practices of the San Chi and Dao people; breaking cakes and shoes, making straw making, participating in folk games.
Within the framework of the festival, there is also a series of unique cultural and artistic activities at the San Chi Cultural Center (Khe Luc village, Dong Ngu commune) and tourist and cultural locations in the commune.
From November 20-22, the People's Committee of Ba Che commune will organize the Ban Vuong Festival 2025 with the theme "Towards the origin - Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Dao ethnic group".
The festival has a lan thu ceremony at Ban Vuong Temple, recreating the "Over the Sea" journey of 12 clans to newly settled land; fire dancing performance and staged the cultural ceremony of the Dao people.

In Van Don Special Zone, the Dai Phan Festival of the San Duu ethnic group is expected to take place from November to December 2025 in Binh Dan area, with a typical cultural space of the mountainous region of water paving, Soong Co singing, folk games and traditional cuisine.
In Luc Hon commune, after the opening ceremony of the "Golden Season Party 2025" from October 24, many activities such as climbing Cao Xiem mountain, experiencing the model of "eating with the village, living with the people, working with the profession", harvesting rice in terraced fields, embroidering Dao costumes, checking in in the golden season... continue to be maintained on weekends until the end of November.
In early December, the So Flower Festival continued to attract tourists with the space of the white blooming plantation forest.
Highland festivals have contributed to honoring traditional cultural values, enriching community tourism products, thereby creating more livelihoods for people and enhancing the attractiveness of Quang Ninh mountainous tourism.
This is also the direction of sustainable tourism development in Quang Ninh province - taking culture as the foundation, the community as the subject and tourists as the center of experience.
