On the evening of January 14, the People's Committee of Sa Dec City, Dong Thap Province solemnly held the opening ceremony of the Sa Dec City Spring Flower Festival 2025 with the theme: "Sa Dec - Where the four seasons bloom". A large number of people in Sa Dec City and districts and cities inside and outside the province attended.
The 2025 Sa Dec City Spring Flower Festival will take place from January 14 to January 20 with a series of activities such as: Ceremony to honor ancestors and honor the ornamental flower growing profession; street food activities; Flower fashion contest with the theme "Colors of Sa Giang"; Acoustic music night "Spring Melody" of the city's youth, Art program introducing typical songs about Dong Thap and Sa Dec; Ceremony to honor ancestors and honor the Sa Dec rice flour making profession; Skill competition "breaking traditional rice flour"; Competition and display of ornamental plants in the Mekong Delta; "Sa Dec Pets" Festival; Competition to decorate tourist check-in landscape clusters, display and introduce typical products, OCOP products...
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Binh - Vice Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee - hoped that the festival would be an opportunity for the city to promote and introduce to tourists the beauty and characteristics of Sa Dec hometown and at the same time be a catalyst for tourism in Sa Dec city in particular and Dong Thap province in general to develop strongly in the coming time.
