On January 1, early in the morning, many tourist areas and spots in Sa Dec city had many groups of visitors coming to visit and take photos. As noon approached, more and more visitors came, mainly families. Some areas and spots welcomed thousands of visitors in just one day of the New Year holiday.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - owner of Happyland Hung Thy tourist destination (Tan Quy Dong ward) - said he did not expect to welcome many visitors because the 2025 New Year holiday is short and does not coincide with the weekend.
But in reality, there were quite a lot of guests. Mr. Hung's establishment also had to prepare everything to welcome guests, not to be too passive.
Mr. Doan Huu Nhieu - owner of the Western Lodge tourist destination (Tan Phu Dong commune) - said that this year the tourist destination has many new highlights, so it has attracted quite a lot of tourists during the New Year holiday.
“I want to create new features so that visitors to Sa Dec Flower Village always feel interesting and not bored. I am also happy that the new products at my tourist destination attract the attention of visitors,” Nhieu shared.
This year, in addition to proactively investing in decorating with more flowers and ornamental plants, Sa Dec City also has other emerging tourist areas and spots such as: the Flower Paradise tourist area with the largest bougainvillea house in Vietnam; the mirror maze and the crystal road recreating scenes of the countryside market, thatched houses, thatched huts, the experience of wrapping banh tet... have helped visitors have many new and interesting experiences, freely taking photos.
After visiting with her family, Ms. Duong Thi Nhu My - a tourist from Can Tho City - happily said: "My family and I have been to Sa Dec several times, but in general, every time we come here, we find something new and unique to explore and take pictures. That's why we come here every year without getting bored."
As for Mr. Dang Hoang Minh - a Vietnamese American, he was impressed with his first visit to Sa Dec on New Year's Day: "My hometown is Da Nang, and I have been back to my country for almost a month. Taking advantage of the days I was still in Vietnam, I visited Sa Dec Flower Village.
So beautiful, the air is cool, the people are friendly. Everywhere you go you see flowers, especially the flowers grown on straight trellises and beautifully decorated by locals and tourist attractions. After this trip, I will introduce to my friends in the US so they can know more about Sa Dec, about our country Vietnam."
The number of visitors to Sa Dec Flower Village is expected to increase sharply in about 10 days, around the time when Tet flowers begin to bloom and Sa Dec City organizes the Spring Flower Festival with many special activities to serve visitors.
