On August 24, Mr. Le Van Nam - Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism confirmed that Mr. Dau Thanh Tung - Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has signed and issued a Plan to propagate and promote cultural values, historical traditions, land, people and unique tourist destinations in the period 2026-2030.
According to this plan, Thanh Hoa determines that the content of propaganda must be focused, suitable for each target group, market and each time.
First of all, the province focuses on systematically introducing the formation and development process of Thanh Hoa land from prehistoric and protohistoric times to the period of building and defending the country and development in the Ho Chi Minh era.
Typical archaeological values such as Do Mountain, Hang Con Moong, Da But, Hoa Loc, especially Dong Son culture will be strengthened and introduced. Along with that is the role of Thanh land in the struggles to build and defend the country; the imprints of dynasties, clans and historical figures associated with the Pre-Le dynasty, Ho dynasty, Later Le dynasty, Trinh lords, Nguyen lords and the Nguyen dynasty.

The propaganda content also clarifies the imprints of Thanh Hoa in the history of fighting against foreign invaders, from the Ba Trieu uprising, the Lam Son uprising, the Can Vuong movement with Ba Dinh and Hung Linh bases to the contributions of the army and people of Thanh Hoa in the resistance wars, building and protecting the Fatherland.
Besides historical depth, the province will promote outstanding achievements in the renovation period, socio-economic development results, national defense, security, international integration; the work of preserving, restoring and promoting heritage values associated with sustainable tourism development.
Another major content is the promotion of the system of tangible and intangible cultural heritage. In which, the focus is on the World Cultural Heritage Ho Citadel, special national relics, national relics, provincial-level relics, scenic spots, architectural and artistic relics, archaeology and the system of national treasures, antiques and museum artifacts.

For intangible heritage, Thanh Hoa focuses on introducing the languages and writing systems of ethnic groups; folk culture, folk knowledge; festivals, cuisine, traditional costumes; social customs, beliefs and community cultural space.
Typical art forms, performances, festivals and traditional crafts such as Tro Xuan Pha, Tro Dien Pon Pong, Tro Chieng Festival, Kin Chieng Booc May Festival, Ngu Tro Vien Khe, Cau Ngu Festival, Che village bronze casting craft, Doc Cuoc Temple Festival, Mung Temple Festival, Muong Ca Da Festival are also in the group of contents prioritized for promotion.
The province also focuses on propagating examples in labor, learning, entrepreneurship, and heritage preservation; the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers, along with initiatives in production, digital transformation, and building grassroots cultural life.
The cultural space of mountainous, delta and coastal areas is also identified as an important promotional area.

In the field of tourism, Thanh Hoa aims to promote the image of a safe, friendly, and attractive destination, linking tourism development with the preservation and promotion of cultural values.
Key destinations include Ho Citadel, Lam Kinh Special National Relic Area, Sam Son National Tourist Area, Hai Tien, Hai Hoa, Bai Dong sea tourist areas, Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Ben En National Park, Cam Luong Divine Fish STREAM, Ham Rong historical and scenic relic area, Tu Thuc Cave, Phu Na and other tourist routes and attractions in the province.
