A representative of Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens informed that there will be free admission for people and tourists who want to visit at 5pm to 8pm.
The program is applied to the period of September 28-29, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
"Through the series of events, we want to honor traditions, culture, as well as connect Vietnamese people across the country," said the representative of the unit.
On the occasion of September 2, the unit will organize many activities with a scale of more than 50 booths, festivals bringing diverse experiences, from unique cuisine to activities recreating traditional craft villages such as: making pottery, making rice paper, grinding rice, weaving, making fish sauce...

In addition, visitors can also participate in modern experiential activities such as making scented candles, henna painting, face painting... suitable for many ages.
Within the framework of the festival, the special art program "Am vang non dong" will take place every night, combining music, circus and magic, bringing vibrant and attractive performances.
Another special highlight is the program "When the Night falls" to experience the exploration of the world of night animals at the Zoo. After 6 months of testing since March 2025, the program has attracted more than 1,360 participants and received more than 1,435 registrations as of August 23, 2025.

The tour route is designed with a gentle lighting system, ensuring natural living conditions for animals. Visitors will witness the hunting instincts of carnivores such as tigers, leopards, and crane in the quiet, fresh ecological space at night.
Also on this occasion, the Zoo launched an experiential education program for students from grades 1 to 12. The program helps students access practical knowledge about the dynamic world, plants, raise awareness of the environment, history, culture and life skills.
