The 11th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival (2025) is organized by Sen Vang Company in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and the City Women's Union. The festival is staged by General Director Hoang Nhat Nam.
Director Hoang Nhat Nam said that the collections in the festival are arranged into a story of 3 chapters, in which there is a special chapter called "Ao Dai and the roads of fireworks", recalling the heroic memories of the nation during the war. This is not only a stage for a fashion show but also a work of art with historical value.
The biggest difference in this year's organization is the scale. The festival brings together more than 50 Ao Dai designers, an increase of 67% compared to previous years, along with the participation of 600 artists, actors, models...
I want to create a stage that is not only beautiful but also tells stories. Each ao dai when appearing is not simply a fashion design, but a piece of history, of culture. I want viewers to feel the settling place and national pride when witnessing these collections, said director Hoang Nhat Nam.
With the theme "Vietnam Ao Dai - Rising Vietnam", the organizing committee hopes that the festival will become a bridge, bringing Vietnamese culture to international standards, affirming its role in preserving and promoting traditional values.
The Ao Dai exhibition space will take place from March 1 to 3 in key areas such as Nguyen Hue walking route, Lam Son Park, and the City Theater metro stop.
This year's exhibition not only displays unique ao dai models but also has many interactive activities, helping people and tourists have practical experiences with ao dai.
The opening ceremony on the evening of March 7 will be a highlight event, when designers will display unique collections, expressing the creative spirit and cultural identity of Vietnam.
