At around 3:30 a.m. on October 20, while performing surveillance duties at the immigration area, Major Le Viet Cuong - Immigration Control Team 2, Cam Ranh International Airport Border Police picked up a Korean passport with the name Kim Haneul (born in 2021).
After searching and notifying but no one claimed the passport, Mr. Cuong reported to his superiors. Immediately, the leader of the Cam Ranh International Airport Police Department directed the Reconnaissance Team to check and verify the information of the passenger whose passport was lost in order to promptly return it.
Through inspection, review and coordination with airlines, travel companies, and accommodation establishments, the reconnaissance team officers identified information about the young tourist staying in Nha Trang City, with his family.
When receiving the report from Cam Ranh International Airport Police, Mr. Kim Leesuk - the father of the young passenger, learned that his son's passport had been lost after completing immigration procedures.
Cam Ranh International Airport Border Police returned the lost passport to Mr. Kim's family.
