The exhibition "S interspersed" organized by the Philippine Embassy took place at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi.

With the theme "Treasure - a gentle but also very strong meeting between the flows: past and future, art and heritage, Philippines and Vietnam", the exhibition introduces 32 paintings by two artists: Vietnamese artist Vo Van Quy "Nhat Quy" and Philippine artist Emmanuel " Manny" Garibay.

The works express the spirit of openness, dialogue and honor the unique cultural values of the two peoples in the space of contemporary art.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on the afternoon of October 17, Philippine Ambassador to Vietnam H.E. Meynardo LB. Montealegre affirmed: Chosing art as a language to connect the two peoples has a profound meaning.

The works displayed today are not only visual creations but also self-deprecating songs with colors and emotions where the identity of determination and closeness are blended together, reflecting the persistent flow that has connected the two peoples of the Philippines and Vietnam over the years".

The Philippine Ambassador said that the exhibition not only shows the unique talents and techniques of the two artists but also shows us the shadow of history and the vision of peace and prosperity that are residing between our two countries.

Representing Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong expressed that the exhibition "Giao lo" not only reflects the history and culture of the two countries but is also a gathering of harmonious souls, contributing to deepening the understanding and friendship between the people of Vietnam and the Philippines through art.

The works at the exhibition express each artist's own creative style but all aim for the common goal of connection and sharing in art. The paintings of Nhat Quy have an abstract feel, focusing on emotions and inner space, while the artist Manny Garibay focuses on depicting human personality and social life through a free, bold and modern expression - typical of Philippine art.

The combination of two different styles but in harmony in emotions and thinking has created a truly "interactive" space, where the past meets the future, heritage goes hand in hand with creativity. The exhibition thereby sends a message of understanding, sharing and connection between two neighboring cultures in Southeast Asia.

The exhibition space is harmoniously designed, helping viewers clearly feel the delicate interaction between works. The interweaving of paintings by the two artists brings a new experience, truly expressing the spirit of dialogue - mutual support in the friendly relationship between the two countries.
