The special highlight of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture Day 2025 is the performances and introduction of unique cultural heritages of ethnic groups.

In the colorful space of Thanh ethnic culture, people and tourists can experience the special New Rice Celebration. This is an important ritual, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and thanking the earth and sky for their blessings for the bumper crop.

This festival not only shows generosity, but also marks the end of a production cycle and opens a new cycle, bringing luck and fullness to family and community. This is also an occasion for family reunion, strengthening the village and reminding the next generation to protect forests and land and preserve production traditions.
Entering the cultural space of "The Colors of Dak Lak Plateau", the Reenactment of the Adults' worship Ceremony (called Mpu Tuy Kong in Y De language - meaning the banquet) also attracted a large number of tourists.
The maturity offering ceremony is very important for the De ethnic group, marking the time when the son was officially recognized as a mature man - knowing how to shoulder the responsibility of his family and business.

The ceremony can be held large or small, lasting one or more days, depending on the conditions of each family. The offering is also flexible: chicken, pork, buffalo; one, three or many cross-shaped wine bottles.
Ms. Ha Thi Thu Ha (Phu Yen district, Son La) shared: This is the first time I have been able to visit and experience the festival activities of the E De ethnic group at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village. I was especially impressed by the activities of drinking coffee, roasting and making pure coffee.
The ceremony took place in the resounding gong sound - the sound considered the sacred language connecting people with their gods. The space was bustling with gongs and wine, visitors and people had to join hands to eat, congratulate, and share the joy with their families until the feast.

During the 2025 Ethnic Culture Festival, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village also organizes a vibrant exchange of folk songs and dances from traditional musical instruments such as gongs, bamboo gongs, T'run lute, along with typical xoang dances to attract tourists.

The series of activities within the framework of the 2025 Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival is not only an opportunity for ethnic groups to exchange and learn, but also an opportunity for ethnic groups to preserve and promote their unique cultural values.
