On the afternoon of April 18, a conference to summarize the coordination with localities to mobilize ethnic minorities to organize activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village (hereinafter referred to as the Cultural Village) took place in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said: "Ethnic communities in the South and in the North, especially those in ethnic communities where very few people have also returned to the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village, participating in many activities over the past 15 years and that appeal has been clearly demonstrated through telling numbers.
In recent years, the number of domestic and international tourists has increased and next year, the number of visitors to the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village will be higher than last year. And in particular, the activities are increasingly rich and attractive, leaving good impressions, contributing to spreading the unique cultural values of ethnic groups to people and domestic and foreign tourists".

According to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung - Director of the Department of Ethnic Culture of Vietnam, after starting its operation in 2015, the Management Board has coordinated with 60 localities across the country to organize many meaningful and unique cultural activities, recreate traditional rituals and festivals, introduce intangible cultural heritages, organize conferences, seminars, seminars, exhibitions, folk songs, ethnic sports, national costume performances, etc.
From 2015 to the end of 2024, nearly 9,000 artisans, village elders, village chiefs, and ethnic minorities of 481 ethnic groups; more than 350 localities; organized 101 monthly thematic activities and events.
Ethnic groups have performed over 230 unique festivals, rituals, and customs recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as national intangible cultural heritages; introduced many national intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO such as the Central Highlands Ceng Clash Cultural Space, Don Ca Tai Tu, Quan Ho Bac Ninh, Xoan Phu Tho singing, etc.

After 15 years of operation, the Cultural Village has synchronously implemented many practical and meaningful activities and activities in the work of preserving the cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups, leaving an impression and spreading it to the people and visitors.

Up to now, 32/54 ethnic groups have participated in the Cultural Village; 61/63 provinces and cities have participated in coordinating activities, especially in places that have participated in regular coordination such as: Son La (47 times), Ha Giang (31 times), Hoa Binh (25 times), Dak Lak (22 times), Kon Tum (18 times), Ninh Thuan (17 times)... many activities are organized in an elaborate, large-scale and highly coordinated manner.
