This is the content stated at the National Workshop on solutions to promote international integration in culture organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the afternoon of May 22.
Speaking at the opening of the Workshop, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung stated that, implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, and the special attention of Party and State leaders to the cultural sector, during this term, the phrase culture has been concretized and built into action programs.

Recently, the National Assembly issued a Resolution approving the investment policy of the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025 - 2035.
Continuing to promote the work of perfecting institutions, in this term, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to preside over the development and has been approved by the National Assembly for 4 laws, 1 resolution, and the Government issued many important decrees to create opportunities for cultural development.
In addition to policy making, from the perspective of state management, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned by the Politburo to work with relevant agencies to advise on the development of documents for the 14th National Party Congress.
In her report at the Workshop, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed that culture increasingly affirms its role as a bridge between ethnic groups, enhancing mutual understanding, being the driving force for sustainable development, enhancing national prestige, creating a premise to promote development cooperation.
The soft power of Vietnamese culture is an important component of the national comprehensive strength and improving national competitiveness in the global value chain.
On the basis of the great achievements of the 80 -year revolution to build and defend the Fatherland and nearly 40 years of renovation, the country has never had a "mechanical, potential, position, international reputation" as today. Facing the historic time, when the world is experiencing the changes in the age, never the determination and desire to rise of the whole Party and the whole nation is strong as today in order to successfully implement the 100 -year strategic goals under the leadership of the Party and 100 years of establishment of the country, making the country a developed country in the direction of socialist.
At the workshop, delegates focused on speaking, discussing, and clarifying issues related to the project on promoting international integration in culture, especially the issue of the project's name and related contents.
Concluding the workshop, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung acknowledged the contributions of experts and scientists to the project on promoting international cultural integration.
The workshop agreed to note that in recent years, the Party and State have paid special attention to the cultural sector, so they have spread the role, position and mission of culture, and their awareness of culture has been increasingly enhanced; the people are excited, proud and confident in implementing cultural decisions, and are also active cultural creators.
In addition, in the process of building a culture, Vietnam is steadfast in its goal of building an advanced culture, imbued with national identity, with the characteristics of humanity, democracy and science, unity in diversity of Vietnam that have been spread to the world. In which, many typical values are recognized and highly appreciated by the international community, becoming outstanding factors and integrating into the common flow, enriching the civilization of humanity.
At the same time, along with the extensive process of international integration and cooperation, Vietnam is gradually becoming an attractive address for international cultural exchanges, proactively absorbing the quintessence of human culture, welcoming development opportunities, overcoming challenges to preserve identity, enriching national culture and bringing national culture to new heights.
The Minister suggested that management agencies, scientists, experts, and those interested in the cultural field will jointly research and propose comprehensive and individual solutions for mechanisms, policies, and resources to achieve the goal of international integration in culture, shifting from "meeting, exchanging" to " egregious cooperation".
