Culture, Sports and Tourism Week welcomes Ok Om Bok Festival 2023 with the theme "Explore and experience the national intangible cultural heritage of Ok Om Bok Festival".
The festival took place at the old Tra Vinh Cultural Center, Nguyet Hoa Square, Ao Ba Om Relic Site and Khmer Cultural Museum. Opening at 8:00 p.m. on October 30 at Pham Ngu Lao Park, with the highlight being the Ngo Vinh Long Boat Race Open 3-4.
In addition, there is also the Trade Promotion Fair and "Southern Cuisine Space 2025" and the tourism exhibition "Vinh Long - convergence Land - A route, three destinations", along with vibrant sports tournaments.
On the night of November 5, the Lunar Worship and Flower Lantern release ceremony at Ao Ba Om ended the festival in a sacred and magical space.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee - affirmed that the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week celebrates the Ok Om Bok Festival 2025 to honor national intangible cultural heritage.
He emphasized that the new Vinh Long after the merger of three provinces possesses a diverse culture, rivers, heroic traditions and creative spirit.
He called on agencies, businesses and people to coordinate, each person is a "cultural ambassador", spreading the identity of Vinh Long, promoting sustainable economic development and tourism.
The Culture, Sports and Tourism Week to celebrate the Ok Om Bok Festival 2025 will take place from October 30 to November 5.
