According to the plan of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week to celebrate the Ok Om Bok Festival in 2025 will take place from October 30 to November 5, 2025.
The theme is "Explore and experience the national intangible cultural heritage of Ok Om Bok Festival". The week will aim to preserve and promote the cultural values of the Khmer people and promote the image of Vinh Long tourism.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held at 8:00 p.m. on October 30 at the old Tra Vinh Provincial Cultural Center (Nguyet Hoa Ward) and will be broadcast live. Ok Om Bok Festival takes place at 7:00 p.m. on November 5 at Ao Ba Om National Monument.
During the week, many rich activities will be organized such as the Southern Culinary Space with 50 specialty booths, a trade promotion fair with 300 booths, a tourism exhibition "Vinh Long - convergence zone", displaying Khmer crafts and costumes, and the first Khmer traditional musical instrument competition.
The sports section is also vibrant with the Ngo boat racing, motorbike racing, along with folk sports tournaments, volleyball, and football for Khmer youth.
