Recorded on the first day of the Giỗ Tổ holiday and April 30 this year, the Dong Van Karst Plateau (Tuyen Quang) continues to welcome a larger number of tourists than usual days. No congestion has occurred at tourist attractions and National Highway 4C.
Meanwhile, rooms at famous tourist destinations such as Lo Lo Chai village, Lung Cu flagpole, H'mong Pa Vi village... are almost fully booked from April 25th to the end of May 3rd.
Informing Lao Dong, Mr. Toang (owner of Toang Khuyen homestay) in Lo Lo Chai village said that his accommodation has been fully booked for the Giỗ Tổ and April 30 holidays this year from the end of March.
This year, the 2 holidays are quite close and both coincide with the weekend, so when tourists plan to go out, they actively book rooms early. At this time, if you don't book in advance, there are almost no rooms left in Lo Lo Chai," Mr. Toang said.

According to a reporter's survey, room rates in Lo Lo Chai village are usually from 600,000 to more than 1.5 million VND/night depending on quality, mainly homestay accommodation services.
In recent years, Lo Lo Chai village (Lung Cu commune) with its original house architecture and unique village culture has been sought after by many domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience.

In particular, since being honored by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) as "Best Tourist Village in the World 2025", this location has often been overloaded due to the increasing number of tourists during holidays.
This village at the northernmost point of the Fatherland currently has more than 50 accommodation establishments and food service businesses serving tourists. All establishments are committed to ensuring food safety and hygiene, and stabilizing service prices during holidays.
At other locations such as H'Mong Pa Vi village with 26 homestays, 168 closed rooms and designed in an architectural style imbued with the identity of the Mong ethnic group, it was also fully booked on the first day of the holiday. Room rates range from 800,000 to nearly 2 million VND/night.

Mr. Tran Toan (Hoang Mai ward, Hanoi) chose Pa Vi as the first stop in his family's trip to Dong Van Karst Plateau this time.
Anticipating the high demand, I booked rooms from mid-April and had to call the 4th homestay to have rooms available. When I arrived here, all rooms were full.
Room rates, according to my reference, have hardly increased higher than usual, other services are still the same, only people are more crowded," Mr. Toan said.
Before the Giỗ Tổ and April 30th holidays this year, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee has requested localities and businesses to strengthen the management of tourism activities.
Accommodation establishments, businesses providing food services, tourism, and experience must be transparent about prices, and products must be of clear origin. Do not allow traffic jams or soliciting customers at key tourist destinations.
In particular, after a number of unsafe incidents related to the form of transporting tourists to visit the highlands by motorbike, Tuyen Quang province has tightened this activity, maintaining the image of a safe and friendly international destination.
