On April 30th, recorded at some photo studios in Hanoi, the working atmosphere became busier than usual. The crews continuously prepared scenes, props and costumes to serve the photo sets towards the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification.
Mr. Le Thai Tuan - manager of a photo studio in Hanoi - said that the number of visitors this time increased by about 10% compared to normal days, in which patriotic concepts accounted for a large proportion.
During holidays, customers tend to choose concepts associated with historical and cultural elements. At the studio, we prepare props such as bicycles, newspapers, along with ao dai costumes, scarves printed with the national flag, and conical hats. For outdoor photography, customers often choose iconic locations such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area or the Vietnam Military History Museum," Mr. Tuan said.

According to records, outdoor photography is a popular choice, especially for female customers. White ao dai concepts combined with red flags and yellow stars are popular, both showing grace and associated with national spirit.

Mr. Luong Duc Minh - a photographer at a studio - said that outdoor photography packages during this occasion are usually booked 3-4 weeks in advance, or even earlier.
The main customers are students and even older customers. Many people take photos to save memories and post them on social networks on the occasion of April 30. The price of photo packages ranges from about 1.6 - 1.7 million VND, including costumes, makeup and accessories," Mr. Minh said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Long - another photographer - said that the most chosen location is still the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area, with the main costume being white ao dai. According to him, outdoor photography also depends a lot on weather factors.
The biggest difficulty is the weather. If conditions are favorable, a shooting session only lasts about 1 - 1.5 hours. In addition to equipment, accessories such as flags, flowers, and scarves play an important role in completing the photo set," Mr. Long shared.

The increasing demand for taking photos according to patriotic concepts during the April 30th holiday shows that the trend of experience of young people is increasingly diverse. Not only stopping at preserving moments, photo sets also become a way to express feelings for the country in a close, creative way, suitable for modern life.
