If in the case that Mr. Vuong Tan Viet uses a fake high school diploma, the units that have granted high degrees to Mr. Viet will carry out the procedures according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the management of diplomas and certificates.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that Mr. Vuong Tan Viet (Thich Chan Quang) was not on the list of candidates for the 1989 high school cultural supplementary graduation exam.
On August 13, confirming with Lao Dong, Mr. Le Hoai Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that he had sent a written report to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs - Ministry of Home Affairs on verifying the high school diploma of Mr. Vuong Tan Viet (Venerable Thich Chan Quang).
According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, on July 30, the Department had a meeting with the inspection team of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs - Ministry of Home Affairs to inform about the verification of Mr. Vuong Tan Viet's learning process.
During the working session, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the inspection team to review all records including the list of candidates who graduated from supplementary high school and the list of names and scores of all candidates who took the exam on June 6, 1989.
