The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City took place over 2 days, June 6-7, with 76,435 candidates registering to take the exam. The total target for grade 10 in public high schools is 70,070 students.
Candidates take 3 subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language. In which Literature and Math have a time to do 120 minutes/subject; Foreign languages have a time to do 90 minutes. Candidates taking the specialized/incorporated exam will take an additional specialized/incorporated exam, with a test duration of 150 minutes.
